Louie WatsonLouie Watson, ChFC®, CLU®, CRC® is Principal at L.F. Watson & Associates LLC, a management consulting firm that specializes in business development, strategic planning, and sales management.  He is a trusted advisor and advocate for his clients; maintains relationships with corporate leaders, nonprofits, and municipal and state officials.  He is an expert business development and government relations executive who brings together the right people at the right time, and manages a productive and efficient process for achieving business objectives of his clients. Louie has over 25 years of executive experience with a track record of delivering results.  He understands the importance of public-private partnerships.

He has mature relationships with public sector elected and appointed officials, private sector leaders, and national and state level associations across the country.  Prior to founding L.F. Watson & Associates, Louie was the point person at Nationwide Retirement Solutions responsible for overseeing national partner relationships and strategic planning with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, National Association of Counties, International Association of Fire Fighters, and Defined Contribution Industry Consultants. He developed and executed strategy to increase visibility, brand recognition, access, and sponsorship opportunities.  He was instrumental in client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction efforts with stakeholders.

Louie has a demonstrated track record in creating, developing, and leading sales teams to deliver results and increased client satisfaction.  He’s held executive positions at Nationwide including Vice President-Strategic Relations; Vice President-East Region Sales; State Sales Director-Michigan; Business Development Director-Mid Atlantic Region; Regional Market Director-Mid Atlantic Region; and Affiliate Relations Manager-Midwest Region. Louie initiated and successfully led efforts to secure a $1 Million contribution from the Nationwide Foundation to the Martin Luther King Jr. National Memorial Project Foundation to build a monument in Washington DC.  He serves as workshop moderator and presenter at national conferences.  He currently serves as National Corporate Advisory Council representative to the NFBPA Board of Directors. Louie earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Kent State University, and holds Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Certified Retirement Counselor (CRC®) designations.
